How .ae domain registration works
The .ae extension is the UAE’s country domain. It is managed by the .ae Domain Administration (aeDA), which operates under the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA). aeDA sets the rules, and every .ae name is registered through an accredited registrar. When you order with us, we handle that process for you.
For some .ae names the registrar may ask for supporting details, such as your trade licence or an ID, to confirm you are entitled to the name. If anything like that is needed for your domain, we tell you before we submit the order, so there are no surprises. Second-level names such as .co.ae also exist and have their own eligibility rules.
A .ae name tells customers you are a local business. A .com is better known worldwide. Many companies register both and point one to the other, so customers reach the same site whichever one they type.
Choosing a domain name in Dubai
Good domains are short, easy to spell and easy to say over the phone. Avoid hyphens and numbers if you can, and check that the name is not someone else’s trademark. If your exact business name is taken, try adding your main service or city, for example yourbrand-dubai or yourbrandtrading.
Domain name registration in Dubai is the same as anywhere in the UAE: you can register a name from day one, even before your website is ready. Securing it early stops someone else from taking it while your site is being built.
Domain registration cost and renewals
Domain registration price depends on the extension, and you pay yearly. Watch out for cheap domain registration offers: the first year is often discounted and the renewal is much higher. Our prices below are what you pay each year, and you can register for more than one year at once if you prefer.
Unlike many domain registration companies, we do not hide basic DNS changes behind extra fees. If you also host with us, we connect the domain to your website, email and SSL as part of the setup.

Questions we get asked
Related services:
What do I need for domain name registration in the UAE?
Most .ae names are open to businesses and individuals, but the rules are set by aeDA and some names need supporting details such as a trade licence or ID. We check the requirements for your chosen name before ordering and tell you what, if anything, is needed.
How long does domain registration in the UAE take?
A .com or .net is usually active within minutes of payment. A .ae name can take longer if the registrar needs to check your details. Once registered, DNS changes can take up to 24 to 48 hours to reach every network.
Can I transfer my existing domain to you?
Yes. You unlock the domain at your current provider and get the transfer code (also called an auth or EPP code). We start the transfer, and for .com and .net it usually adds a year to your registration. A domain cannot be transferred within 60 days of being registered or transferred.
Is the domain registered in my name?
Yes. The domain is registered with your business or personal details as the owner. You can move it to another provider at any time.
What happens if I forget to renew?
Your website and email stop working when the domain expires. There is usually a short grace period to renew, but it varies by extension and late renewal can cost more. That is why we send reminders well before the date.
Is your domain still available?
Search now and register it before someone else does.
